- Fill these capsules with .05 oz of urine and cap them. Place the pointed ends into the ground until the tops of the capsules are even with the soil's surface. Undo the cap. The most effective use of these capsules is placed in a line about a foot apart which makes them well suited to guard flower gardens and other small areas.
