This repellent, designed for spraying over a fairly large area, discourages raccoons, moles, voles, gophers (pocket gophers), squirrels, armadillos, etc. from digging up your lawn or gardens by giving the sprayed soil a bad taste. A castor oil extract, Whole Control is non-toxic and biodegradeable and won’t harm plants, turf, or soil. Critter Ridder
Critter Ridder repels by scent and taste and contains a formula of oil of black pepper, piperine and capsaicin.
The granules are most useful indoors when hung in mesh bags or set out on paper plates in areas like the attic (or wall voids), basements, storage areas, sheds and barns that were once infested with raccoons. Indoors they wil last up to 3 months. Outdoors they can be used to sprinkle small areas of lawn and garden beds for spot treatment in problem areas.
The ready to use and liquid concentrate are ideal for preventing digging in lawns, garden or landscaped areas. It is also good at protecting garbage bags from predation. Not recommended for use on tender plants. Lasts up to 30 days so be prepared to reapply with some frequency.
