Electric Fence Ground Rods

Ground Rod

Most energizers need a ground rod to complete the electric circuit and while many energizer manufacturers recommend 6ft long rods we have found that in summer gardens with perimeters of less than 600ft the 2ft ground rod listed below will do a fine job. If the fence system is to be used in a very dry area then a longer ground rod may be necessary or an artificial ground may be needed.
